Upcoming Events

January is pro-life month, and as a result, there are several pro-life activities coming up which you are welcome to participate in.

Saturday, January 13 at Aradia
This is the last weekend Aradia Women's Center will be open for business. There will be Mass at 7 am at the Knights of Columbus Hall followed by the peaceful prayer vigil and a reception afterwards to celebrate Aradia's closing. This is an historic event in Seattle history that you won't want to miss!

Sunday, January 14 at Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish
You are invited to an "Evening of Prayer for the Unborn" at this new parish in Woodinville. The vigil will begin at 5 pm with the Rosary and end at 9 with Benediction. You are welcome to spend whatever time you can. The address is listed below and directions can be found at www.blessedteresa.org.

Saturday, January 20: West Coast March for Life
Although YFL is not traveling as a group to San Francisco for the West Coast March for Life, you are encouraged to go. To find out more, visit the official website, walkforlifewc.com.

Monday, January 22: Olympia March for Life
Join YFL in Olympia! If you need a ride, there are several buses leaving from Seattle area parishes, including St. Monica's and Blessed Sacrament. St. Mark's also has buses going, but they are almost full, so you are encouraged to find other buses to travel in.

Blessed Sacrament transportation (from Chris Haag):
For those of you who still need transportation to the March for Life in Olympia on Monday 1/22, please contact Chris Haag at chris.haag (at) yahoo.com or 425-244-5547. He has a bus (that desperately needs to be filled) that will be leaving from Blessed Sacrament Church (5050 8th Ave NE, Seattle WA 98105) at 8:00AM. We will be going to Mass at St Michael's and then on to the Capitol. Complimentary food will then be served afterwards back at St Michael's. Projected return time is 5:00PM. Cost is $15. Also - if you know of anybody else anywhere who needs transportation please pass this message to them as well. Thanks!
