Pro-life Events

Show the Truth
You may be familiar with Show the Truth, one of the organizations which show pictures of aborted children in order to increase awareness of the reality of abortion. Washington's branch of Show the Truth run by Ed Sauley will be making an appearance in the area after Easter. More details will follow. You are welcome to contact Show the Truth through their website's schedule of events to learn more.

40 Days for Life in Bremerton
"Join with Kitsap County churches and hundreds (perhaps thousands) of other people of faith and conscience across Kitsap County and the entire Puget Sound area in this historic pro-life campaign consisting of prayer and concern, fasting, outreach, and vigil" at the Bremerton Planned Parenthood, 623 NE Riddell Road. The vigil began on February 21 and will extend through April 7 (all of Lent), taking place 6 days a week from 8 am - 8 pm, excluding Sundays. The vigil is being organized and run by Kitsap Human Life and all are welcome to attend. If you plan to attend the vigil, Kitsap Human Life asks that you fill out their Sign-up Form and sign their Statement of Peace, which can be found on their website under "Contact Us About 40DFL", along with directions. The web address is kitsaphumanlife.org.

Angelorum Auction
The 5th annual Auction of the Angels to benefit Angelorum Pregnancy Services is coming up on June 17 at St. Matthew's Parish in Seattle. Youth for Life members have always volunteered for this event, which will be professionally catered this year by Angela Kim. If you are a YFL member, clear your calendars and come help out! If you are not a YFL member and would like to support the efforts of Angelorum, consider attending the auction! Tickets are $30 a piece, or $200 for a table of 8. To reserve your table, get directions, or even submit an auction donation, please visit the Angelorum website, angelorum.org, and click on "News and Events." And as always, keep Angelorum and all crisis pregnancy centers in your prayers!
