Remember Bikin' 4 Babies? This is the same organization, but this time they're in a parade in Gig Harbor! Come join the fun, wear a bright orange t-shirt, ride a bike, bring your friends, and show Gig Harbor you're pro-life!
WHAT: Gig Harbor Maritime Parade – 4US will have a flatbed truck, a pickup truck and a cool Chitty-Chitty Bang Bang Car as we march, drive, roll, scoot, bike, trike and stroll down the mile long main street of Gig Harbor.
WHEN: Saturday, June 7 - Meet at 9:00 am to assemble and get a cool orange Join4US T-shirt (see below) - Parade at 10:00 - Done around noon - Exact times to follow (once parade organizers tell us our official start time)
WHO: Anyone who wants to bike, walk, ride, scooter, stroller, or roll together and have a fun morning while promoting 4US .
Champions, bring your friends and their kids and all of their friends! ( BUT NO PETS )
WHAT WE'LL DO: Launch last year's t-shirts into the throngs of parade bystanders. Hand out 1,000 4US tattoos and brochures. Encourage folks to visit our booth, register and become Champions.
WHERE: Tentatively meeting at the KOA campground at 9515 Burnham Dr NW, Gig Harbor, WA 98332. (¼ mi north of the Parade Line up area)
You'll probably have to park at the Home Depot lot farther north. We will notify you about where we will meet with a shuttle to get to the staging area. (That way your parking will be easier.)
