40 Days - 4 Days to Go

Its hard to believe that the 40 Days for Life is nearly over! Thank you to all who prayed and fasted during the last 40 Days, even if you didn't get a chance to go out to the vigil sites. There are Victory Rallies planned for both Everett and Seattle, and Seattle still has some hours that need to be covered. Remember to contact your vigil leader if you want to see David Bereit speak torrow evening in Olympia, unless you have your own transportation. Here are the announcements:

National:

On Saturday, November 3, 40DFL is inviting everyone to go out to local Planned Parenthoods and abortion clinics to pray regardless of whether those facilities have been prayed at during the preceding 39 days. The intention is to increase our prayers that abortion end in America. Please consider participating in this. They are asking that every abortion clinic in America be covered for at least 24 hours. For more information, please visit this article on the event.

Everett:

Friday at 9:00 am, David Bereit will be joining us for an hour at our vigil site. Come meet him!

There will also be a Victory Rally on Sunday, November 4 at 5 pm. Come celebrate what God has done through our 40 Days for Life campaign. Note: the time has been moved up so that we can really celebrate. We'll have food this time, and open mic for all of you to share what you've seen God do in these 40 days. And once again, we'll be blessed with the inspiring music of Donna Cori Gibson. The rally will be held again at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 2913 W. Marine View Drive in Everett.

Seattle:

Friday from 11:30am-12:30pm, David Bereit (the national coordinator) will be at the Seattle vigil site to join us in prayer. This is a great time to meet Mr. Bereit if you won't be able to attend his talk in Olympia at 6:30. (Call the Seattle vigil coordinators if you want a ride to the talk.)

On Saturday morning at 8:00am, there will be Mass at Blessed Sacrament Church followed by the Helpers of God's Precious Infants monthly vigil.

Sunday is the last day of the vigil and Daylight Savings Time (remember this if you have hours to fill!)Come join us in a prayer of thanksgiving for the opportunity to be part of this amazing journey and anticipation of the many opportunities God has in store for each of us. For 40 days we have been lifting up our prayers, our time, our lives to the Lord for the unborn. This Sunday will be Day Number 40. And we're hoping that all of you can come out and pray, whether it be for just a half hour or for the last few hours of the vigil.

Tuesday night, join in the Victory Celebration at St. Marks parish! Dinner will be at 6:30 with the rally starting at 7:00. Address: 18033 15th PL NE, Shoreline, WA 98033
